videocon d2h dish size

ok here is the thing , i as on airtel dth stndard definition and it was just amazing in the rainy times , it used to get blank just for few minutes in starting and after that it was working even in heaviest of the rains (most of the times)

but now i am on videocon d2h HD and its so stupid that it stops working and doesnt even work without restarting(airtel always used to start working on its own after few minutes) even after 2 hours .

does it have anything to do with dish size or anything that can be cured?

Try putting a transparent cover over the receiver. a quick dirty but best cover would be lower half part of a cut mineral bottle. (upside down) or inverted water pet jar :lol:

Rain issues happen with all DTHs. But if your prob is major its best you call them up or email them regarding it rather than writing it here. Or else contact then through FB or Twitter. My probs always get sorted through Twitter.

Man please read my post with some attention, I said airtel also affected by rain but much much better, infact 10 times better than d2h, do you have some real information? Which even d2h don't have?

I don't need some generic answer, please give me some experts answers, I am 100 percent sure we have more information on this forum than those robots sitting in d2h

Ask the d2h guys to realign the dish again and check for the signal strength. It should be around 70 to 80. I had this problem with Airtel and after realignment of the dish I am able to watch even when it rains moderately(Heavy downpour no chance).
