It will be of great help if you can provide the Length and Width (In Inches) of the viewable screen area of the following LCD TV Sizes given in diagonal (Inches):
All have an aspect ratio of 16:9.

Simple pythagoras will tell you that

if height is 9 and width is 16 then diagonal is 18.35

You can work out for all the sizes now.

26" = 22.67" W x 12.73" H

32" = 27.90" W x 15.67" H

40" = 34.87" W x 19.59" H Sony,Samsung,Sharp and some toshiba ,philips lcd

42" = 36.62" W x 20.57" H All plasma .Lg,panasonic,some philips ,toshiba lcd.

46" = 40.10" W x 22.53" H Sony,Samsung.Sharp and some toshiba ,philips lcd

47" = 40.98" W x 23.02" H Lg,panasonic,some philips ,toshiba lcd.

50" = 43.59" W x 24.49" H All plasmas

52" = 45.34" W x 25.47" H Sony/samsung,Sharp lcds

55" = 47.95" W x 26.94" H Most sony/samsung/LG lcds

60" = 52.31" W x 29.39" H plasmas.Sony/samsung,Sharp lcds

Well the 19/22" sizes can come in 16:10 ratio mostly .

Below in 16:10 ratio

19" = 16.11" W x 10.07" H

22" = 18.66" W x 11.66" H
