WD tv Live vs DACMagic

Title looks like a joke but for me it isnt. I am using WD TV live as a flac player connected to the DACMagic but i cant hear difference between dacmagic and WD TV stereo analog output. I have a pioneer a6 amp and Polk audio rtia7 speakers. I am using DACMagic for about 40 hours. Also I cant hear difference between DACMagic filters. Using Philips optical and stereo cables.

listen to one of them for a couple of days and then switch back. You may notice difference as I did between my dvdp and nad cdp. I think when you are doing quick switching, your memory may not be able to keep up

Thanks for the reply. Okay I will try that. Did you make a blind test? Can you understand which one are you listening without knowing?

no. I am in the same boat as you. I do not believe high priced equipments are necessarily better, and I am always looking for a cheaper component performing better. But didn't happen in at least nad vs dvdp - both analog out. Initially I said why did I spend on the cdp, there is no difference. This sound was there in dvdp as well. But then I switched to nad for a few days, and then when I switched to cdp, I found the sound be bright and lacking bass.
