Wharfedale 9.2 or 8.2? which path should I take?

I have got a deal from a local dealer of wharfedale.....he quoted me 30K for complete package which finally got settled at 27.5K.....
I got this deal since the left tower had minute scratch on the front top corner and back side which is veryyyyyy minimal.......and this was because of the mishandling of the speakers in logistics....(Thats what he told me)....
Apart from this there is no problem......
More importantly i have got invoice & warranty too for it......:yahoo:..isn't gr8...
I think this was a steal and hence have stolen it :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Moreover Thats good to know that you are from Ahmedabad only....will need your suggestions surely since i am planning to buy few more stuff in short time......like an stereo Amp, CDP, Blue Ray player, LCD and off course intend to upgrade the AVR also...

and now ... I have a similar predicament:

The diamond 9.5 --> 26k (can't spend so much + a li'l too big for my living)
the diamond 9.2 --> 15k (stands 5k ;( + sounds good)
the diamond 8.4 --> 17k (juicy; 2 way, suits my area 150 sq. Ft)
the diamond 8.2 --> 9k (???)

thi....he rates mentioned for 8.2 is a negotiated one or the mrp. Pls let me know where you had got this. I am looking for a second hand, so this will help me to evaluate the price. Pls help me.

plz go for 9.2 .it picks up very low and medium frequencies than 8.2 and 8.2' s bass is boomy as compared to 9.2 .9.2 's bas is bit tight .also if money is not consideration then plz go for 9.2 or else 8.2 is best.

I have already gone for the 8.2s and guess what I am happy with my decision. Only thing to be considered while selecting this speaker is the pairing has to be done with a high powered amp (>100W RMS/ch).

From where you got the quote for 9.2 for 14K in pune?

I am looking for wharf 9.2 and I was quoted 17K for the same at Aquarius.
