What is a good avr at about 25 to 30 k

What is the value champion these days ? I wont be using this for music. This will play movies from PC and Blu ray player via hdmi.

You have so many avrs with this price range but what speakers are you going to use with this?

Currently it will be some old speakers but this will evolve over a period of time so want scaleability..
