What would you do with Ten Crores (Rs 10,00,00,000 )

I cannot comprehend why people look for indian food while travelling abroad

probably the need to pass flatus (break wind!) and evacuate bowels (pass motion!!) -

the spices probably help -

bland duck meat and bread/salads might not help the less-traveled indian to attend to these two important bodily activities in a manner accustomed.

yaar meri life ban jaayegi???? plz give me i am very needful

thanks

After a long silence , I am back at the forum so thought of some fun..........

If I were to deposit Ten Crores (Rs 10,00,00,000 ) in your bank account today, what would you do differently?

Listen to the first responses you get when you ask yourself this question and then rather than just shaking them off as unrealistic or impractical, start to figure out how you can get there.

There's thousands of people worldwide that have Ten Crores (Rs 10,00,00,000 ) or more so there's no legitimate reason why you can't be one of them?

So what are you gonna do when you get it?

What I would do?!?!!:licklips:

10 C being a rather restricitve amount:), needs carefull consideration:rolleyes:. My first reaction would be smthing like this,

1. Retire.:licklips::yahoo::clapping:
2. 4 C for Tax:mad::sad:
3. Put 2 C in debt MF/ FD to get 1 L per morth for household ependiture and travel. Leftover savings if any go to Equity/Precious Metal.
4. 1 C for new home. ( Includes furnishing, HT, everything,)
5. 1 C for a wee farmhouse some 50-60 away.
6. 90 L investment in Equity & Precious Metal.
7. 90 L inv in Real Estate. ( Inv in RL will be total 2 C including Farmhouse)
8. 20 L Car 1. 4 L for Wife, 2. About 10-12 L MUV for Me and Family Travel. 3. Suzuki Ninja 250 CC for me. Extravagance in wheel will be saved for later when I get Substantial return fro my Investments.

And Poof, 10 C is gone before u know it.

P.S. If I Don't have pay tax:yahoo:,

1. 50 L more for home.
2. 50 L more for Farm
3. 30 L more for Wheels
4. 70 L Inv in precious Metal
5. 50 L Inv in commodity
6. 50 L more in Equity.
7. 1 C in Real Estate

I know your question was rhetorical, but here goes..

Different people look for different things from life experiences. Your purpose of traveling may be to experience a different culture in its totality. However, this may not be the case for someone else. They may solely be interested in "sight-seeing" touristy places, taking photographs, etc., and interested in phoren desserts but not really interested in phoren phood. Its their cup of tea.

Having said that, truly opening one's mind to another culture is actually more difficult than what we superficially claim. Can you really eat steamed stomach lining, roasted worms, snails, pre-hatched eggs in their shells, etc? These are not exotic or extreme foods, they are actually commonplace street food in many parts of the world, regularly eaten and relished by milions of people.

A big reason why many Indians struggle with food is also because Indian diet, unlike most places on earth, is predominantly vegetarian. Even many "non-veg" Indians mostly like their non-veg in small quantities and often denatured by means of deep frying, etc. How many of the non-veg actually eat stuff like liver, kidneys, etc?

if i could, i d give up all the money to re-live 3 or4 days/phases of my life again.
maybe my college time all over again... or maybe my school days ... the first crush the soacialisation etc.
or i d give back 99% of money and get back to each decade of past 150 yrs in india... . the remaining 1% would b used to buy dslr and lappie with lots of ss storages for the visual essay.
if i could i d hire leonardo the architect to design n build the largest mausoleum ,michael(angelo) to paint its frescoes and mozart for a requiem.
and we wont bury just anyone there but only the ones who kill themselves there n then just to b worthy of the trio z tributes.
@mods... delete vser z post for frustooing others and ban him forever if he does this again... he may drive up suicide rates among forum members....:)):p
