Whats it like to own an Apple product.....

I corrected some mistakes in my earlier report. The app for downloading videos is aTube and it only works on YOuTube. For other Internet sources, Use PC and copy after transcoding to ipod format.

And the very best part about owning an iPod is ..... :yahoo:

You can zoom and "pinch" and "poke" when watching porn!!! Makes it so interactive.... :licklips:

Sent from my iPod touch

But not quite as interactive as the iWoman! ;)

Now for one of those jokes that I can't quite remember. it was a short sketch, I think, on a radio show, talking about trade marks and companies suing over infringement of same. The punchline was, "After extensive research, Apple are sure they will have no problems with their new computer, the iBM."

Sorry... I guess you had to be there <Blush>

Ok guys, tell me one thing, how do I convert FLAC to mp3 to upload in the iPod? Any very easy to use, one touch and go software? Can lame do it?

@ Konfused = I use the MP3 WMA Converter and it works like a charm. Set output to Mp3...choose highest bitrate / quality and enjoy. Tried quite a few programs earlier with flaws here and there...but never been dissapointed with this one. Very easy, super fast and awesome quality output.....converted Pink Floyd Diskography ( Flac-11gb) in no time last week.... Link below :

I wonder why would you wanna convert FLAC to MP3, if at all you want to play the same on your iPod, I'd rather convert it to Apple Lossless rather than MP3 ....... atleast would maintain the Dignity of FLAC :D

And now they have trouble with their iphone4 antennas...something that an electrical engineer would have been able to fix...wait, Apple is a software company. Never mind.

^^ Didn't you know the million dollar solution from Steve ......... Hold the phone the other way ... !!

I'd have said that they were a hardware company.

Or, a company selling tightly-linked hard/soft wares.

No, wait.... they're an image company!

Yeah, I keep catching a glimpse of my image reflected in the screen of the ipod or the rear shell ... :)

Cheers

3GS unlocked prices have come down (in US I mean) ... was thinking to get a 3GS one and update it to OS4 .....

So that's what it's all about!

A small pocket mirror would be cheaper, but Apple would claim that their products are superior ;)

I always thought motorola and ericcson were the pioneers, though Nokia made its presence felt in every nuke and corner.
Motorola invented the cellphone way back in 1973 and commercial service was started by Motorola a decade later. Companies such as Nokia did not even exist then. The $3900 Motorola DynaTAC 8000x was the first commercially available cellphone model in 1983. I personally had the opportunity to use a Motorola cellphone in 1987 while at college in the US.

Since Apple was porting their OS to both AMD and Intel processors, MS feared they would release their OS as a product to be installed on any CPU/Motherboard combination. As part of agreeing to port MS Office to the Apple OS, MS is supposed to have wrested an agreement from Apple that they will not make the Apple OS a competitor for Windows.
I am sorry but that cannot be correct. US anti-trust laws would never allow any such deal. In any case the Apple OS is only good for people with limited needs and would never ever be able to compete in an open market. Personally I find their computers and OS to be, how should i put this withotu being rude, designed for the simple minded. :)

PS: I am surprised that no one has pointed out that Bill Gates owns a substantial amount of Apple stock. When Apple was in major financial trouble before the iPod was launched, Bill Gates put money in Apple to keep theri competitor afloat, which helps Microsoft in dealing with US anti-trust laws.

Most cell phones, desktops, laptops, mobile music devices currently in the market are clones and bad copies of some Apple product...
You must mean the other way around actually. The only thing Apple is good at, other than undeniably being brilliant marketeers, is to take what has existed for years and then present it as if they invented it. I personally have been using a touch screen smart phone since 2002, that is 'FIVE' years before Apple decided to bless humanity with their iPhone, which was not even capable of doing things that even a Rs. 3000 phone could do half a decade earlier. Only now, four versions later are they now willing to let people have features that most good phones have had for years.

I have no problems with people wanting to throw their money on rip-off products and in turn living with the illusion of owning the best. But what I cannot stand is when these same people, actually start believing and preaching to the rest of us about how Apple products are god's own gift to mankind. All I can say is wake up and smell the coffee.
