Where to buy a brand new TEAC or TASCAM deck from in Bangalore?

I haven’t picked it up yet as it’s extremely pricey after 18% GST (40k)Going to try and see if I can repair my nak and denon decks first (for the last time)

Hi Sandesh,
Do post your findings and what you end up buying. I'm keen on getting a tape deck as well but wary of going down the used gear path.
Tascam and Teac decks do look promising if you get hold of authorized dealers.

I got a few from olx. Teak, Nak, Sony. From my experience of used decks in India, look out for SONY decks. They are the ones available in best condition in India. Your best bet is scour German ebay. They have some of the pristine conditioned decks available. Once I got one Pioneer CT series deck in a unopened box condition, listed for 800 but after calculating the over cost of import plus shipping it went around 1.5lacs INR+ and that too without any guarantee that sarkari babus will not swallow it. So dropped the idea and started looking in olx.
