Which Media Player is the Best

I am looking to buy a media player which is primarily to play movies and music that i have on my PC thru RJ45. I am not looking for streaming or playing anything online. Please suggest which would be the best option? Some of the ones i short listed are:

1.Asus O!Play HD2 With USB 3.0 (Price in India 7300)
2.O!Play HDP-R1(Price in India 5000)
3.Western Digital- WD TV Live - (Price in India 5800)
4.La cinema With 1TB Buit In Price around 9500

Pls Help

and my HTIB is Onkyo ST 3400
 
all the media players available are capable of playing HD movies also there are many threads discussing about the same in details. please search and go through those threads for more info.
 
@cdmsaran: The last 3 responses should indicate to you that there is no "the" best media player. There are a lot of good ones and pick one that matches your budget and tastes.

I have xtreamer Sidewinder, and Xtreamer Siderwider 2 also.

True. Ask ten persons and all their answers will be different. The question should be which is the best media player in my budget?. While selecting a media player one should look for playback capability like video and audio formats supported, user friendliness, types of connections available, HDD capacity, whether internal HDD slot is needed, network support, after sale service, online support like firmware updates, forums etc. I have a himedia 600b wifi and I'm satisfied with it's performance even though I didn't get much time to play with it.

Hi Baiju,
I agree with u but i am confued whether i need to go for xtreamer or himedia 600 B since both are more or less same rate only.

himedia 600b looks better ;), has built in wifi, and slightly cheaper than xtreamer...so i guess the choice is quite clear. plus there are many forum members are happy customers...

just a suggestion after looking at posts, reviews and online prices. not promoting any product as such cos i don't have either...:p

Himedia 600B. Got one from Mr.Ragu and dont find any fault with it. Kind of almost plays all the format i have in my HDD. For that price i still feel this is better.
 
I've used a lot of media players in ma PC but Western Digital- WD TV Live & Xtreamer Siderwider 2 are the best media player ever for me because It has a lot features rather then other players...So try these players & enjoy the movies & also songs with these players....:licklips:

Can you give me your reasons behind your choice?
Have you tried HiMedia 600B?
If yes , than whats your opinion about it? again which media player gave you best PQ?
