Wiring Suggestions

I am alomost ready with new home with hall measuring 24 x 16. Now its time for wiring. I have asked vector systems to suggest me some good cables. they coated about 5 k for parts and installation... could anyone on this forums can suggest me with what wiring sshould I go ? can I get the wiring done personally , if so any ground rules ? I am inclined around missions for my yamaha..

1) Cable brands
2) Cable Specs
3) Mission set ( include FS,BS,Woo)
