Hi all,
I own a Yamaha RXV 363 of three years (past warranty) which stopped all of a sudden while playing and has been refusing to switch on ever since.
I opened the thing up and confirmed that the fuse was alright. The problem would therefore be at the transformer level or onwards.
Yamaha authorised service center in Delhi gave a repair estimate of Rs 5,000. That's approximately 1/4 of the price I bought it for.
Can anyone suggest a specialised third-party repairer of hifi AV receivers in Delhi who could fix it for cheaper?
For example a few years ago, a guy called DT Gandhi in Patel Nagar used to do this stuff but he doesn't seem to be listed correctly on any of the local search directories anymore.
Would appreciate any help!
