I got a question regarding my yamaha rxv661 receivers power, my speakers long term power are- fronts-130rms, center & surrs-80rms, u think the speakers deserve a more powerful reciever or does this yammy do them justice, here are the links-
fronts-
Speakers from Jamo
center-
Speakers from Jamo
surrs-
Speakers from Jamo

the yamaha site doesnt give much info so got the info from the manual-

? Minimum RMS Output Power for Front, Center, Surround,
Surround back
20 Hz to 20 kHz, 0.06% THD, 8 ? ...................................... 90 W
Dynamic Power (IHF)
Front L/R, 8/6/4/2 ? ..................................... 120/155/190/235 W

dunno if the speakers are enough or need more powerful reciever,
wat ur'll guys think? thanks..

but is the power enough for the jamo speakers or do i need a more powerful receiver??

should be sufficient for the most, if you listen at insanely high levels, down the line a 2 channel power amplifier upgrade for the fronts might help.

Hi guys,

Am new to this forum. I have a question similar to the content in the thread.
I have a Yamaha RX-V661amp. I have not yet bought any speakers, which is the best one..how does Jamo606 fair.
