This track is from Ilaiyaraaja's concert in Italy [Album: Ilaiyaraaja's Musical Journey: Live in Italy]. An instrumental improvisation on his composition (with lyrics written by poet ONV Kurup), for the Malayalam film "Olangal (Waves - 1982)", based on Erich Segal's book, "Man, Woman and Child".
Another adaptation of the same book/film would be Shekar Kapur's debut feature, "Masoom (1983)".
However, in Hindi this composition was used by Ilaiyaraaja in a much later film, lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire.
