120 to 220 v regulator

hi all
I am planning to buy a sony xdr f1hd radio tuner from 20north,which works on 110 volt mains.I wanted you people suggest me a good 110-220 v regulator for the same.also i just wanted to know whether this kind of regulator will induce any hiss/humm or any unwanted sound to the output of the tuner.thank you

pls go to shah electronics on ritchie st (narasingapuram st) near mount road bata. they have converters of all kinds - with servo stabilizer or without stabilizer. take ur pick. just picked up 5 nos converter for cordless phone usage y'day @ Rs. 110 per piece. They have a price list which shows the various options (suitable for various wattages etc)
