2.2 speakers, finally done

Finally its done.
More than 12 months in making ( actually most of time, just waiting to find time) finally my DIY project is complete. Last year I decided to make a 2.2 system and benchmark was to make it sound better than polk audio I have.
I collected all the stuffs last year, Peerless drivers from Versha electronics, crossover components from US, boxes custom made at home, design inspired by Lithos speakers.
All boxes are of sealed type.
I am using DENON CD player and Amp to power the speakers, both subwoofers are powered by separate plate amps.

They look superb! Are they then combination of active (subs) and passive speakers?
Or you have an amplifier having 2 connections for subs?

How they sound now? Have yu achieved your target?
Unfortunately, I haven't heard Polk Audio but am sure (seeing your passion and your creation) that you must have reached or surpassed it already.

Terrific craftsmanship! Do yourself and your speakers a favour and place a big thick rug in front of them to cut a bit of floor bounce. Also, are your speakers attached to the subs? If not, them move them to the front edge of the subs to eliminate reflections from the top surface.

yes, its a combination of active subs and passive speakers. the subwoofer are powered by individual plat amplifier fitted in back of subwoofer box.
the top module is not fixed, so i can move them.

Hey They look really great. I am of great thinking that is the height of the Speaker part is the same (is yes then how about the sound staging and listening level in terms of height) or you have planned for speaker stands. In case you are in need of Steel stands just let me know I will try whether I can get done one for you as per your requirement.
