Hello everyone!!
I am new to this forum.. definitely not an audiophile.. so please be gentle if I my questions/comments sound silly.
My setup:
Receiver: Yamaha YHT 299 /HTR 3066
Projector: Egate DLP projector
Player: LG BP440 and xbox 360
The problem:
The projector supports 3D and so does the LG bluray player. Yamaha says YHT 299 has 3D and 4K pass through. However the bluray player fails to enable 3D mode while hooked up to the receiver. 3D works fine when the player is directly connected to the projector. First I suspected the HDMI cables and replaced them with 3D tested ones. That didn't help.
Could any of you experts please tell me what I am missing here ?
