i have a 4kva stabilizer in my living room which is used for the air conditioner..
i have a panasonic 42C10D,a ps3 slim,tata sky+ and plan on adding a 5.1 htib soon..

what i want to know is can i use this stabilizer to run all my AV as well as my air conditioner which is a 1.5 ton hitachi split rated at 1800 watts

i will also be using a surge protector

MAINS>>stabilizer>>surge protector>>tv,htib,tata sky etc.

the plasma i guess is rated at 225

so is this a viable option??

their isn't much fluctuation in my area but still i would like the added safety..

not a viable option! -

the electric motor ,which runs the compressor of the hitachi, draws a very large amount of current for an instant when it switches on- and this is does every few minutes -

it will be a nasty experience for you if you connect your av rig and hitachi to the 4 kva stabiliser (together)

ok..
thanks a lot...
i guess i will get a separate one then...
or i guess the surge protector might be sufficient since i have rarely seen any fluctuations around here..
