i don't watch movies on the PC, but i do play games on my consoles, which are connected to these speakers.

The PC can do the decoding. Just use VLC or PotPlayer (much better).

Nothing actually, just took photos for size comparison. The Edifiers look more expensive than they really are. In fact they look better than Onkyo speakers I am just talking about aesthetics here nothing else.
Overall compasiron: Onkyo 3500 always needs good content to sound good, it is brutal on low quality stuff : old movie video songs sound unacceptable on the Onkyo. The good thing about analog (imo) is that it makes every shit sounds better than what it actually is hehe...
