B450 is costlier than X10 in US/UK.
I have the 42" and it is very good.
If you are getting the panasonic, get the X10 instead. Someone else has got it for 74k.
i searched forum n finalized two options.
1 samsung 50 b450
2.panasonic 50 x10
now price difference is 22000, which is ok with me but is it worth goin for x10?
n pls guide accordingly.. i searched the forums n both are favorite here so m damn confused..

You won't get a definite answer here.
For 42", both are neck to neck as they cost same.
For 50", IMO, there is no contest. X10 is not worth 22k more than B450 (period). And as far as I know there is only one owner who has a 50" X10 and he is happy. There are many happy B450 owners here.

What is the availability of this 50" plasma in new delhi/ ncr? I guess it must be 720p and not 1080p?

2010 should see 50 +(52 and 5 inchers) LCDs become more affordable and fall more within the 1.5 lakh range. Currently there are a couple of 50 inch+ models which fall within this bracket. As far as plasmas are concerned it is a bit more difficult to predict as it depends upon what models would end up here
i searched whole Pune city for samsung 50 b450 n finally 1 of the brandshop owner promised me to make available nxt week .. so nxt week ill decide aftr the demo..

i am currently using the panasonic 50c10 and the performance is pretty good.although its not full hd but it still performs good while connected thru a hdmi cable.i think 70k is a bit steep,where did u check the price? i bought it from Resonance audio in delhi and i got it for 65k only.check out with them.they are great guys to deal with.

Ie, If both costs same which is better?
It will help people decide between B450 and X10 in 42" where they cost almost the same.
It is almost established that for 50", B450 is the best VFM you can get your hands on at the moment.
Hi BLASTO, Iam not a good reviewer as you 
But i feel like the PQ of b450 is slightly better than X10... The 1ly problem with b450 is the temporary IR... 2day after tuning channels, i noticed the menu IR for few minutes(watched it very closely) in my b450 . But iam very much satisfied with b450 over x10 If both waz offered to me at same price, i would go with b450 with careful usage in first few months .
Edit : Blasto, can you tel me how to enter service menu of b450 to check the hours of usage?

also have a look on the latest panasonic 42g11 full hd plasma,quite an impressive image.not launched by panasonic in india but i saw it with the resonance audio guys in delhi.but as far as 50in.full hd is concerned pioneer kuro is my personal favouite.
