Hunter, go for Samsung that's what i will suggest. Have been using one for the last 9 months and the experience has been pretty good. Try to avoid buying 3D personally i don't favor the same , better to go for a non 3D model.

Have you not considered projector? For now I'd say LG 55LX9500..... . Proved model , friends using it they are super happy.
