60" plasma

hello im looking to buy a 60"plasma
can you please help me , find the best value for money for 60"

is 3d really required..i would hate to watch a 3d stuff, wearing the glasses n crap... so i guess 3d not really for me

pls advice best model to go for 60"

i uusually would watch
1) tatasky- hd
2) connect my lappy to watch tv shows/ movies which i download
3) sometimes watch movies off a blue ray player / dvd player

i can stretch upto 1.2 if need be..getting extra features of sometihing
and can also stretch to 1.4 if really something wonderful offered

Get the LG top end 60" plasma , you cant go wrong with that.

just a thought...for that size, why don't you consider going with a projector?

Also, the display is as good as the source. If you are watching compressed files downloaded from the net, it would look as crappy on a 60-incher as it would on a handheld...

Go for samsung 58" PS58C6500 its a good model and you can't go wrong with the same.

The Samsung PS58C6500 should be around Rs. 135000 - Rs. 140000. My personal suggestion is for you to buy this over the LG, that is if you can fit it into your budget.

Specifications don't neccessarily tell you much about the quality of a TV. My recommendation is based on my opinion of the quality of the TVs.

does 10' real estate make 40-50% price variation!

I think street price should be less than 1L for 60" model......

CES 2011 had PZ750/950 models releasing this year..not sure in India we will have them.....but if we have them in India..the price of PZ550 will be much less.....

heard at the demo that the prices will drop for PZ550 only after 3-4 months....

Samsung C series is 2010 model......the D series have more improvements to the technology....only difference in samsung models is "MegaDCR".

Try to compare both Samsung and LG to come with a choice.......

Even LG had made tech improvements in their panels......

Yes , as the sizes go up specially when you start hitting the 55" range the pricing does shoot up. 1.3 lakhs for a 58" or a 60" is a good deal.

Go for Samsung it will be difficult to compare as very few users buy such big sizes, most just switch to projector.
