A Hotter Future Is Certain, but How Hot Is Up to Us.

The climate has changed for sure. The unseasonal rains , floods and glacier's melting is surely an indicator.
Mumbai and Bangalore use to be quite cool earlier. Now Mumbai has practically no winter and B'lore too is no longer like before and getting hotter.

Hari, it’s the duty and responsibility of scientists and policy makers to convince those who are sceptical about climate change.
Climate change scepticism is widespread along with apathy and belief that nothing can be done about it.

Long term change seems inevitable as we as a race miss deadlines but there seems to be some hope that we can maybe mitigate its effects for our children and future generations.

In youtube I saw a youtuber mention that in a Chinese city, there were zero ice(internal combustion) 2 wheelers at all. China made that transition. In India also it should follow suit.

GUY WHO URGED PLANTING A TRILLION TREES BEGS PEOPLE TO STOP PLANTING SO MANY TREES

His latest study, published last month in the journal Nature, takes aim at "greenwashing," the deceitful practice by companies — and countries — in which they flaunt their supposedly eco-friendly efforts to overshadow their heinous environmental practices.

Why our Brains Don't Fear Climate Change Enough

Description:
Humans are great at reacting to mortal danger... but only sometimes. Unfortunately, some risks to our safety and wellbeing don't set off alarm bells in our brains. Climate change falls into that category. Why is that?
Harvard psychologist Dan Gilbert explains how some dangers trigger us, and some don't. In discussion with Dr Laurie Santos, he also outlines ways in which we can be made to care more about threats to the planet and maybe react to them in more positive, happiness-inducing ways.

  • A Human Behavioural Crisis Threatens Humanity

The climate crisis should shift from technological solutions to human behavior.

  • A recent study shows the climate crisis is primarily a human behavioral crisis.
  • The study emphasizes the need for changing harmful human behavior like overconsumption and population growth.
  • Marketing, media, and storytelling tools can be used to reframe social norms.

Is there hope?
