Airtel HD a total disaster

Thanks Prash. Thats helpful. Now i know where the problem is. Will pursue with Customer Care. But i am sure they will not understand what i am talking about. You are lucky to have conveyed your message and got the problem rectified in 6 visits. Here there have already been 5 visits and after each visit the engineer disappears and a new engineer comes and i have to re-explain everything. Its so irritating. Almost equivalent to customer harrassment.

yes dear it is realy very irritating...but i asked the enggr to sit for full day.......i knew it that they will not....and finally i got the replacement.
 
:mad: i think Airtel CC is the worst possible CC u can get..ur mobile will be kept on hold on each call for unkwon time period..any issue, SLA which they speak off is 48 hours is nver less than 480 hours...they love to generate a new ticket everytime for the same complain. :licklips:..& above all they should add few more words in there vocab instead of being a robot "Sir,Main appki pareshani samjhta hun..bilkul shayata ki jayegi....Appki parshani ke liye main chama chahta hun...(yar chama to main mang raha hun airtel DTH lagane ke liye)"" :sad: & blah blah....

last time i ad problem i had to user other sources to get it fixed (leaft all hope from airtel CC & service)...
Man do they really dun want to stay in business of DTH ...:mad:

Last Saturday, the Airtel guys finally did the re-alignment on Saturday.
Things have been stable since. I have used their website to add channels and Movies Now HD has been simply superb. No issues since *touchwood*
 
I had to face alignment issues with DISH TV after consuming my entire day the engineer concluded that the box is faulty.
He came without monitor and asking me to give him my LCD tv so that he take it to roof and see signals.
Pathetic.

I had the same experience two days back when i wanted to recharge my account using recharge voucher with 16 digit pin.The waiting time is too large to get to their CC executive , they put u on hold for a long long time. They are just horrible.
 
I am planning to switch to TS+ HD ..Willcompromise on the balance i have with airtel .. i believe the TS+ experience will be soothing enough & i will not banging my head against wall in the days of issues with the DTH.
