Airtel xtreme 4k dolby atmos shows pcm with 2 channel input in denon 3800

Hi All,
I recently changed airtel xtreme 4k dolby atmos setup box and it is connected to denon 3800. After installing it i always see HD channel input as 2 channel and i dont get options in movie mode to change to auro or neural x. When i play netflix or amazon it shows 5 channel as input but here also i dont get option to choose different movie modes.
I am always seeing only 3 movie modes. I tried changing sound options in airtel box from auto, no surround and manual but no use. I am not getting different movie modes in any sound output mode. Is ther a problem with airtel box. ? Airtel to denon is only through hdmi

I think its not avr ir aurtel box issue. Its with ott Iam using apple tv 4k connected to Maranz50. Z5 input is showing 2 channel only.And gtting sterio

My previous airtel smart was working correctly and showing 5 channels as input signal. When i changed to new box it started showing 2 channel as input. Ott like netflix and amazon are showing input as 5 but i am not getting different movie modes here also

I assume you have connected STB to one of the HDMI ports on the AVR. Are you sure you saying the AVR shows only 2 channel as input when watching a 5.1 or 7.1 content? How do you know the content has 5.1 sound? (for example, Star Sports HD only offers stereo sound on most content; only for premium content like IPL, they offer 5.1 or Atmos sound).

I tried checking all hollywood channels and hd channels. None of them shows input as 5 channel. Earlier same channels in old setup box showed as 5 channel

I had the same problem with the new airtel box. The airtel service guy came and rectified it. He told that there is some audio compression problem at airtel end and that needs to be enabled in the ST box. Still I am not happy with the audio output as they seem to be very low when switching to 5.1. The audio is quite loud in stereo setup. Airtel service is also useless as they are unable to solve this problem.
