Alternative remote control for nvidia shield, cheaper options

Hello all,

Does anybody pair other brand remotes to the shield? My remote control stopped working so looking for a cheaper alternative for it. Currently there is a MI Bluetooth remote control on mi site available for 500 bucks but im not sure whether it can be paired with the shield or not. Could somebody help?

You can use nvidia shield mobile app or any hdmi CEC remote control

Of course I am currently using mobile and TV remote only, but the thing is, I felt the dedicated remote was very convenient.

Has anybody tried this remote control? MI Bluetooth Remote
