You mean vocals are nicer than the thiels?? That would be GREAT in the 50k price range. As far as to say un heard of.
Are you comparing NAD to the krell by any means?
Correction........ 65K ... with the fit and finish you see in the speaker pics.
BTW, bass is bound to be more pronounced in Krell as compared to the NAD. Krell is 'known' for its tight bass. So, it isn't a right comparison, IMHO.

am sure there will be lots of 'blood' shed then
I don't so think it is easier to transport Thiel due to weight.

any comparison to thiel is only out of memory. Both speakers are not burnt in much.

carrying theils is difficult, carrying amps is easier. Will invite avid to my place on a sat/ sun early morning.

Well, I believe it is I who was the 'only' one who took the risk ... 'no risk no glory' .. that proves it! Yet another thing, therez something known as risk capital in business. If lost due to any reason, one should be prepared not to get MAD.
Yes, agree to the 'happy with the current combo' in totality. It is just about being getting used to something, including sound signature.

I dont think so AVD is going to upgrade, from my views he is getting accommodated to the present system he has and he has almost got it tuned his speakers for his taste.... If at all upgrade bug comes may be he can fine tune his speakers as Hariiyer suggested.. That may be upgraditis

My upgrade / addition story ENDS here, with the newly acquired FS TL speakers. Now, the only expenses envisaged would be on maintenance and repairs, if any, to keep whatever I possess in pristine working state.

But you see, I am very rich, very rich not because I possess huge disposable moolah ... very rich because I get satisfied, and once satisfied I draw a line ... a 'laxman rekha' and never attempt to cross it! That line is drawn!
Now, let me devote some time (new job permitting) on my other passion ... study on newer ways to harness renewable energy. Yes, study only. Can't implement. Have been able to focus on to something ... solar thermal power generation.
Definitely not saying that I would vanish from HFV ....

I may plan a upgrade around November/December this year if Avid allows me to implement the fully tested Harmonic balance concept in his speakers though i have not yet decided. Its still under testing and have to see how well it goes. Will have to get feedback from Denom for an audition after i have completed my testing. This may get delayed due to time availability challenges.
