can some1 throw light on this matter?? why this is happening and any solution???

Same problem with VU 40" model. My 4years old Samsung 26" LCD plays whatever format you throw at it, and it's not even 720p model but my VU shows 'unsupported audio' for some of the video files. VU and Micromax have forgotten that movie files also have audio; supporting all video formats without supporting widely used audio formats, is a of no use.

Hi

Some TVs don't play all formats or only display video and no audio or vice versa!

Would suggest you read the manual carefully and make note of what formats are compatible and based on that perhaps re convert the movies you already have or fresh downloads....

Apparently there is a software update sections in the settings. Hope micromax issues a update to solve this problem. Anyone else has a better solution to fix this issue so that mkv files can be played directly without doing any further processing.

There is the easiest solution Avdshare Video Converter to Convert Video to Play MP4, MKV, FLV, AVI, WMV, MOV, etc on Micromax TV.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
