Hey Guys!

Been wrestling over which HD media player to go in for.

Been browsing through the Forum, and gotten a lot of reviews for the Asus mini.

However, since most of the movies i currently watch are BRRIPS, a media player with wifi or ethernet is what i want to go for.

Budget doesnot permit to go in for popcorn hour / xtreamer players.

Have narrowed it down to

1. Asus - HD2 media player (Rs. 6800+)

2. Asus - Mini Plus (Rs. 6800+)

3. WDTV Live HD networked player (Rs. 7250+)

Rates are from a Dealer on SP Road..

The Asus HD2 looks good as i can put in a hdd later on and convert it to a NAS.

Am interested in the WIFI/ Internet capbilities only to the extent that i can transfer my files wirelessly or through bit torrent to the Hdd via the above media players.

How does the Asus player compare to the AC Rayon Playon Model? its available in bangalore, but not many shops carry it or heard of it. They show me another "playon" media player which looks very cheap and dubious (HD Media Player - PlayOn 1080p ,DIVX ,MKV,H.263.H.264,HDMI,AV Cable | eBay)

Or is it more prudent to go in for a Dedicated NAS and connect the media player like the Asus mini

your thoughts?
