But reviews about Poineer shows it's Built Quality are not good, these are the Cheapest AV receivers available in the Market Today with Cheapest Hardware used, this is About Low End and Medium End, about High End not Confirmed about Built Quality and Hardware Used. But Poineer is Giving good return for what you pay.

Hey Friends,

Today I checked bose website and found "Bose acoustimass-6", 5.1 Speaker......And on the Top there Price: Rs 48,263.00, Price inclusive of VAT.

I think these are on a budget if compared to high end 5.1 Bookshelf / Floorstand speakers......My perception is Bose Sound Quality is also it's proprietary and gives complete satisfaction. As my requirement for a Budget System which with these speakers can be fulfilled..... The final decision will be after Audition of these.

How you Advise to attach these Acoustimass-6, with Denon AVR-S700W / Yamaha - 675/677

Sorry Bro, if you mind this. My objective is not to heart any Pioneer owner here. I am a fresher in this and don't know much about this. But what I observed in the reviews after comparison that I say...
Pioneer is also a World class Product Company no doubt in this.

Show me more reviews - very shallow eviews - by the way Poneer is in AV in a big way may not present in India.
They are in DJ, Studio and Car audio markets where products needs to be rugged

There is JBL speaker set SCS 140 which you can get for 12 -14 K..
It is with 8 Inch active sub unlike Boses 6 Inch One

Check it - it will take Bose's pant down

15 years -- you are thinking too long!! Have a 5 years window for yur AVR .. though speakers will last!

OR you mean to say any New technology will come in AVR, after 5years or so. And Today's AVR (Technology) purchased become's past old time item.

It's actually a Serious Consideration before throwing money in any AVR. If it's last for just 5 year's then any Budget / Entry Level AVR can be taken with a Good Set of Speakers.

Around 15 years ago we purchased Aiwa 3 CD changer, at that Time worth Rs 20K, with set of 10 VCD's ...........I like it's Sound quality today (It's Bass is not as Deep and Groove as today's sub woofers OR just like an dedicated Sub woofer ) and it's sufficient for me, but the only Drawback now is it can not produce 5.1 Surround, Dolby Digital, Tru HD master,DTS audio Formats, No HDMI Connectivity.....But Optical Out is there. Two Extra channels for Surround which were never used.......

Any Idea to get Good Bookshelves, OR Wall Mount , Because big speakers I can't accommodate.

Can't decide what to do, b'coz I want a Good Sound System for Music and Movies Both in a One single system and Speakers. And also not want to Waste money in experimenting.

Bud, buy two bookshelf speakers for now. Then buy a AV receiver to match the speakers. Demo various combinations. Go to the shop with your favorite Blu-Ray or music CD. Ask them to play that piece in all the shops/combinations. First buy the bookshelf speakers. And then get an AVR receiver to match. Not the other way around.

Later add one sub.

Then when budget permits, add a center speaker (important for dialogues in movies).

Finally, or maybe you will be in a hurry, add two floorstanding speakers. Shift the bookshelves as rear speakers.

Try Onkyo AVRs, I like them for movies. If you are going more for music, say 70% music, 30% movies, then go for a Marantz AVR.

How much wil be a Minimum Budget for Bookshelves to get Quality Sound....

2. Jamo 426 with 210 Sub - RS 44K (Best Price)
3. Yamaha NS-PA 150 (5.1 HTP) with Sub YST-SW315 - Rs 39K (Best Price)
4. Jamo 360S25 Wall Mounts (5.1 HTP) - Rs 63K (Best Price)
5. Jamo A102 - Rs 52K (Best Price)
6. Klipsch - 284 - Rs 51K
7. PSB Alpha series (5.1 HTP)- RS 74K
8. JBL Cinema 300 (5.1 HTP) - Rs 25K
9. JBL SCS 140 - RS 15K

So many of these here and a lot there in market which make a person totally Mad.

Yesterday, Trying to make a mind to Buy Yamaha YHT299, HTiB it's in budget and will costs around 35K (including Yamaha Speakers & believe that at least there is a acceptable level of Quality Sound from this, reviews are also good about this).......Today when checking specs and reading its review then it doesn't support Flac file format and some others also......So changed the mind today. But for starting it may be a great system....

So today my heart is broken and, I drop the idea to buy anything and leave as it is...with what I have with me.....Suddenly a Option came from John suggesting to start Gradually with bookshelves....and feeling little happy.....
But Confusion in Bookshelves also given above.....

This is my experience till now guys.....

What do you mean does not support Flac?

Flac (Free Lossless Audio Codec) files.......Yamaha YHT299 which is HTiB type model doesn't support these types of files. The Lowest Entry Level Models of Yamaha Receivers (YHT299 and RX-V 377 don't support that format)

Around 13K for Sonodyne is where you should start off for your bookshelves. I have RTI series of Polk and can vouch for them. But they are a bit expensive (around 20K, I think).

Wharfdales are also good speakers, but a bit laid-back sound.

AV receivers

Pioneer have some good value-for-money models.

Take a look at Hifimart for prices and brands.

You can also take a look at Norge. They made some good budget equipment. No AVR though.
