avr 4550 harman kardon

hi,
I have a HK 4550 coupled to Infinity speakers, my system goes into thermal shutdown mode, each time its switched on, any help

pls check if the speaker wires are touching the chasis of the avr, or touching each other near the speaker terminals.

i have checked the speaker terminals, negative, they are not touching. the system switches on, and in say two to five seconds shuts down.
