okay guys, got my sr5009 in 1 day...amazing delivery and price by hifimart...good that I checked it bcoz in Pune stores everyone was giving max 10% off but in hifimart got 20% off which is amazin deal for this great lill AVR
yes its an upgrade over my 1912...did audyssey and dynamic eq on just like 1912 but sound quality is very different
it seems audyssey implementation is different from different brand and marantz has got it right
with dynamic eq its true to theater experence not over bloated like in 1912
sub is well optimised with great powerfull effects
its more user friendly with ots of features I wll use like play flacs using dlna and als keep vid of any source running
watching HD channels on TV is great now also blurays and HD movies
overall quite impressed..

Its not Audyssey but different preamp stage and tuning of Marantz itself.

Yes, well both Denon and marantz have same Audyssey MultEQ xt but their implementation is quite different.. For example the dynamic EQ of marantz is quite subtle where as Denon was very loud and bloated... Also I like how they set the reference level of Audyssey balances center channel dialogue which I cared most and Sub normalization

Since its new model,FW update may not be available.
now they have reduced it to 10%. Wondering on what basis they reduce the discount suddenly and increase it at later stage :indifferent14:
whoever planning to purchase has to keep waiting and depending upon his luck he would get a good price.
