Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and got to know about it from YouTube comments section.

Planning to buy 4K LED TV by end of Jan 2021.

Primary usage will be for PC & PS3 monitor and OTT Content... No DTH usage.

Most Probably will use this for 5 yrs and then upgrade to 55” or above.

Requirements:

Budget: Under ₹35k

Size: 43”

Display: 4K (Good Colour Management)

WiFi: Dual Band (if not, Ethernet ports will suffice? Using Airtel 200 mbps)

OS: Android or any other but should support Chromecast internally as I am using iOS.

Service/Warranty - A good one or atleast a manageable one.

My list as follows:
  1. LG 43UM7290PTF - ₹ 35k (OS - LG & not android pie/dual band (I guess)) and a good service. Has Apple airplay support as well.
  2. HiSense A71F - ₹ 27.5k (OS - Android/Dual Band).. Based on ownership reviews service is not good.
  3. Haier LE43K6600UGA - ₹32k (OS - Android/Dual Band)... Not sure how the service is.
  4. VU Premium 43PM - ₹27k (OS - Android/Dual Band).. Not sure how the service is.
Guys, it would be helpful if you could provide your valuable suggestion. Any other models which would fit my requirement will also be useful. Thanks!!!

For 4K you need 55" is and above to notice any difference. 4k on a small sreen TV is barely noticable.

43” is considered small . I don’t have the budget for 55” now. Is it better to wait & buy 55” then, once finances are sorted?

Thanks but still over the budget for me.

Prices have gone up and will probably go up more this year.

I'd say TCL, HiSense, Sanyo are the value ones.. (We got a HiSense 43 @29k for office team folks to work together)
I guess 50/55 would be 5k more.

Any ownership review of Hisense 43A71 available here? Amazon reviews are decent but many people highlighted terrible after sales support. Also Toshiba U5050 also seems to be almost similar. Both at same price of 28k with only 1 year warranty. Couldn't find ownership reviews of both these TVs on this forum.

Got it, tested for a week, sent to office as per plan. Specific Qs?
Yes have a few questions:
1. How are the black levels? I know this ain't a FALD/OLED but is it good enough?
2. How is the PQ, specifically cable/SD content?
3. How are the speakers?
4. Any niggles you came across?

Is it worth buying or should I look for other models in same price range as Toshiba U50/Mi/Nokia/Moto TVs?

Fine. Not something I was testing - Best to go see it at Reliance
2. How is the PQ, specifically cable/SD content?
Didnt connect - PC only + Netflix - Worked fine.
3. How are the speakers?
Fine.
