Car and vehicle subwoofers for home use?

Anyone who knows and has experienced repurposed vehicle subwoofers for home useage?

Recently I have heard Rockford punch serIes p2 and p3 12 inch and 15 inch subs. Connnected through crown pa.

It may not sound as good as in car since car is very closed environment. Also you would need AC to DC converter .
Also If you compare Mono Amp + 12" Car Sub price almost cost min 20 to 30 k. You may better invest in HT Subs.

If you are trying to check already purchased and unused amp + sub then u may try . Definitely it will not sound as good as HT Sub.
Try to put the car Sub in big Ported Enclosure at home, by this way u may get better BASS.
