A free Blue Ray player along with the Denon 2311 is a very tempting offer, especially seeing that I wanted to get myself a Denon 2310 once my Flat is completed. Only problem is that my flat won't be ready for another 2 years. Does it still make sense to go in for the offer ? What do you guys think ?

2 years is a very long time especially when we talk about electronics. Who knows you might get a 2313
(2 years from now) with added features and get a BD player (with more features) for a similar offer
(or a price less than the current offering) 2 years down the lane.

When it comes to electronics,
- buy an item only when you are absolutely sure you would start using it
then or it becomes an absolute necessity or you are not able to resist
the tempation/craving

- the moment you buy it forget the price you paid for it. If you start
comparing the price you paid when you bought and the current market
selling price it might lead to some heart burns.

My enquiries show that the BD players available in India are only Region C.

When sales people say their BD player is region free, they are referring only to the DVD part of it.

Hi All, Thanks for all the useful info here. I need some help.
the Denon dealer in Bangalore is giving me this deal.

2311 for 60000 + the BD player (1610)

TSI 300 Rs 21000

Speakers/Sub for 47750

Can anyone suggest if this is a good deal? or can i go for better speakers package for my 2311..

My budget is 1.2 lacs
