Cool amp modules GB on DIYAudio

Folks, check out this LME49830 amp thread on DIYA.
They should make pretty good amps, and have a wide
operating voltage. "Immensely versatile" as described in
the opening post.

They should make great drop-in replacements for the power amp
section of a dead vintage amp/receiver which you want to
resuscitate or put on steroids.
Many of those old Japanese amps have somewhere around +-50V rails.

These modules are really tiny - much smaller than the
Panson Audio Compact series -

I see many have already giving their orders even before they hear about the feedbacks but just with the design and the values.

Noob couldn't get how great it will be?

The LME498xx chips are reputed to be super low distortion, high
quality front ends for amps. There are many threads on them on diyaudio.
Panson tested them exhaustively and posted the results in this thread ...

Comparing LME49810, 49830 and 49811 - diyAudio

There are other threads discussing Lateral MOSFETs, though maybe not the same ones used in the Wire Amp.
