The amp doesn't have sub out. This is a pic of the svs sub I plan to use with the creek amp.

What's your source? Run RCA from source to sub to its line level input. Then run another pair of RCA from sub(line level out) to the amp.

You'll have to do a bit of volume matching.

Check out the frequency charts of various instruments and see if you really need a sub for music :).

Subwoofer add weight to the music... The graphs won't let you experience that.

Larger floorstanders might be trickier In terms of getting them to work with sub woofer.

Thats a different matter.

But it's something worth trying if Celester already has sub/s

Am curious to see how this turns out.

Not at all :)
How low do those go?
Subterranean. Easily touches 20hz and below. And there's a lot going on down there. Without a sub, such tracks simply fail to convey the soul of the music. Unless of course, the speakers are capable of touching 20hz effectively.

Inflexible placement of speakers also necessitate a sub, something I've found rather commonplace with most people in more populous cities (and by necessary implication, a higher premium for space). Not all of us are blessed with proper listening/treated rooms and/or accomodating opposites. :)

Perfectly blended bass is key.
