Hi
In my stereo setup, I noticed difference in sound from Left and Right speaker. In one speaker I kept crossover close to woofer driver and another away (due to some reason).
So want to ask, would magnetic field cause influence on crossover?
Would magnet influence capacitance / inductor value?
If yes then how to avoid this influence? only by placement or ant other method?

Thanks

Will affect the inductor as they work on magnetism. Move them away. But I find it hard to believe that you have them so close to the speaker magnet . Closer than say 3 to 4 inches ? At that distance or further away I would think it shouldn't matter.

Although I personally have not tried but feel like the following should work.

If you (for some reason) are bound to keep the cross over very close to driver's magnet, keep an iron (anything that is attracted to magnet) plate in between the magnet and cross over, and close to the cross over.

Let us know result if you do this. Result in any direction would help us all.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
