I am planning to buy a Crown XLS 1503 amp for my HT. Is Amazon the right place to pick it up?

Not sure if they are dealers for Crown, but you could try VMT in BLR https://vmt.in/pages/store-locator Buying the amp off Amazon works just like for any other electronics.

No issues buying from amazon, infact amazon has cheapee rates compared to other sellers.

I have been using one, and a very good amplifier at that price.
