hi folks just got installed d2h 4k uhd
here is pic of settop boxes white hd .... black 4k
pros
1.1080p resolution now for hd channels also
2.definitively there is improvement of pic quality even though its a full hd tv not a uhd tv probably due to increased data input
3.gui improved
4.audio quality same
5. adfree cricket
cons
1. u have to get mandatory platinum hd pack to view 4k channel (at present it is free)
2.costly
3. same dolby not dts sound in 4k channel

my opinion
i am happy since there is clearly some pict quality improvement
colors are popping out and also getting 1080p resolution for all other hd channels instead of 1080i
yet to test on 4k tv :sad:
