I have a dedicated 25 X 15 HT Room and have been using a 61" 720p DLP TV. I got the new Sanyo PLV-Z3000 1080p projector and have a little over 11Ft available for a screen between cabinets (2x2)
Options:
1) Use a fixed screen and move TV to adjacent game room - Problem is I will need another NMT for serving media.
2)Drop down (motorized) screen and have the TV visible/connected normally and use the projector as needed. I have heard that the drop screens may warp and also sway if there is space behind them. (The AC will be 23 Feet away, and the window next to screen will always be closed. So chances of a draft are pretty slim).
Also, I have been unable to find any drop down wider than 120" Diag (105" width) - 130" Diag would fit nicely with some room for speakers.
Please advice.
