Denon x2800h from AVshack or Profx

Why would you be looking for an uber TOTL amplifier? Aren't they having components which are tough to source when you need to repair them....? Aren't they very heavy 🪨 and thus means very few people who are willing to repair them ?
All uber TOTL or any amplifier for that matter have mostly genetic components. It is only IC and certain other niche components that are a problem. The problem is not getting the parts but accessing them, in the sense that you have to remove 5-10 boards to get to them. but that is a problem with any AVR, ubers are a bit more complicated!
I would know because as a matter of learning, I have taken my Denon AVR part by part and put them back together again.

Quality of sound. Better spec components. More robust design. Better quality boards etc. And an old uber would be relatively cheaper for lack of the latest codecs and HDMI boards. Even if they did have HDMI boards they would be more basic compared to the newer ones. Just my humble opinion.

I have a pair of transmission line speakers 🔊- Irving m Bud Fried Signature A6. Driven by a harman kardon AVR amplifier 3550 from 2004-05
.

I was debating buying a Pioneer AVR weighing 35 kg totl Uber product - 59 txi / Vsa asx 10i.

Compared to fosi mono v3 ..

Any opinions?
