DeoxIT in India

Hello everyone, I'm having a busy day today fixing all my recent vintage audio acquisitions.

My problem is that a lot of the contacts and inputs are oxidized and abraded. I have heard great things about DeOxIT in many forums- I tried Amazon and there's someone charging a child's ransom {almost 6k] for a 2 oz can of the spray. Otherwise nothing.

Can someone point to me to a contact or company who can supply DeOxIT or a comparable product?

Not recommended. One of the reviewers says it melted the plastic parts.

I have seen local technicians use isopropyl alcohol to clean the terminals.
For cleaning dusty board they use water and WD-40, then sun dried.

This must be crude for you but service technicians follow this only in India

A Bangalore based company that has 2 products for clearing electronic contacts

I spoke to one of their staff just now. They categorically said they're only B2B and don't do retail sales as it is "not viable" despite showcasing live/non-conductive electronic cleaners on their website. They don't have a dealer/distributor in Maharashtra either. How did you get hold of this cleaner ?

I had called the company directly and asked for minimum quantity. The chap I spoke to said 6. So I bought 3 each and it was couriered to me. It was some time back, maybe they changed their policy now
