DIY - Floor Standers (Klipsch look alike)

Great work
Wanted to know did you made the crossovers too. Or you got them ready made.
I also need inductors for my DIY crossovers.

No, Got them ready made. Complete kit is imported from US. I am just making the enclosure part. For inductors you can click here

Great work. What glue did you use to stick the cross over parts to the board.?

The Cross-over is pre assembled. Got it imported as a complete kit. I would also like to inform you that I personally use hot glue gun to stick the parts to boards.

amazing precission and tools. did you take help from cnc cutting ?
really inspiring work.all the best

All the Baffles are cutted on CNC machine & Thank you Bro. :)

Further Update.

I had to sand the original veneer because while during the process of gluing veneer the carpenter had used nails to hold the veneer on its place and i had to later patch the dents with putty.

Hence i have no another option than to cover the Veneer with Stain. Below are the photos of same.

Which are those yellow crossover caps? Type and make?

Btw dear FM @sadik , can you please throw some light on the drivers used? I guess they are Klipsch drivers only....from where did you buy them? What was the costs?

Have you done any acoustic parameters (expected) in the project planning? What could be the curves?

Looking forward to see the final outcome....and the performance.

It's a real pleasure to read this thread.

The Drivers used will be original & they have been imported by the user directly along with crossover and vents too. I have not done any kind of design calculations. The user has given me size of the enclosure and i am following it. Its a simple bass reflex design with separate chambers for both the big drivers.

I also don't know how will it perform, but i am hoping for the best.

Some sort of cost/labour expenses breakdown would also be helpful.........

Apart from Drivers, Till now the enclosures have costed us round about 35K, which includes Birch Ply 2 Sheets, Cutting charge on CNC, 2 sheets of Veneer, Labour charge of carpenter for veneer fitment, Stain, and other necessary things like glue, sand papers, putty etc.

Final Painting, polishing & Labor is still yet to be counted.

Beautiful and amazing work.

Thanks Mayank Bro.

Till now the enclosures have costed us round about 35K,

Edit:
Forgot one thing the Acoustic foam count another 5K for 2 sheets, Hence total is 40K, The Total Cost of only Enclosures (2 Nos) will reach upto 55 to 60K

Superb looking. What paint is that? or mix of polish and paint. It would be nice to know the process.

First i had sanded the veneer (read my post #22 for clarification), then stained it with a strainer by using spray gun to cover the entire area with uniform layer, then allowed it to dry & sanded it off with 400 grit paper ( repeated this process 2 times), then clear sealer was applied to close the open pores of veneer, after drying the clear coat it was sanded with 600 grit paper. ( repeated this process 2 times) then final matt clear PU was applied ( 2 coats ).

In front also I have applied first sealer, allowed it to dry and then sanded it off with 400 grit paper, (repeated 2 times) then i applied Matt Black P U Paint (3 Coats) sanded with 1500 grit paper very lightely and finally matt clear PU was applied (2 coats).
