Hi,

Samsung recently added new LED TVs to its existing television line-up. One of the TVs hail from the 8 Series that brings a lot of new features. The model boasts of full HD resolution support, refresh rate of 240Hz and super-high contrast ratio.

However, looking at the current environment issues around us, one of the most noteworthy aspect of the LED TV Series 8 is that it is easy on the planet as well as the eyes. Its recyclable bezel frame contains no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). And by using mercury-free LED lights that require less energy, less CO2 is emitted. So you can put your feet up and relax knowing you're leaving a smaller carbon footprint.

Cheers. :D

Agree. But is that not true for all Samsung LED/LCD, like the UAxxB6000 & UAxxB7000 series also?

Hello,
this ecofriendly is a new tagline to make things pocket unfriendly. In India in all the metropolitan cities so many eco unfriendly things going on do we really care if a tiny television is eco friendly or not. I recently saw Nokia wants to get old mobile phones for free under the cover of this eco friendlyness. So that they can take back old phone recycle it and sell it back to us again. Don't know if it is eco friendly or not but definitely bottom line friendly for these companies. Just a thought. I am no way agaist people who want's to be eco friendly.
Thnaks.
