Effects of speaker placement & Room treatment

IMO, this room treatment method will benefit speakers that have inherent phase distortions in their crossovers which could be acoustically corrected. Speakers that are phase coherent may not require them at all.
 
Hari, this room treatment works for single drivers too. Single drivers are phase coherent. The rosewood treatment doesn't do anything to the sound signal. It basically cuts out high frequency noise of window panes thereby reducing interference with the sound waves. The resonators too basically modify the density of air thereby allowing more easy uniform propogation of sound waves. Again they are independent of the speaker used. The resonators are actually used in cars to reduce friction of air with the engine to improve fuel efficiency. There is a patent that has been awarded for this
