hi,
i m in the process of setting up dedicated home theatre room,
and its at a place where Electrical Supply goes off regularly...

so, i was worried that abrupt Power Off may kill the projector,
How can i protect the Projector against such issues?

thanx

UPS/Inverter for projector.
For audio equipment, nothing fancy required (Just leave it connected to normal power supply).
When power supply goes off, you will notice audio equipments turning off. Projector will remain on due to UPS/Inverter. Just do its normal shutdown. Done

+1 to rshri
A simple UPS or inverter is all that is required. There are threads on this before.
A CVT is noisy and suitable only if there are minimal power fluctuations.

Obtain a 1 KVA Online UPS for the projector, a stabilizer for your subwoofer (look at the current rating before buying the size required) and Belkin adapter with high joule rating (atleast 1000) for the amplifier.

For a little more you can get a home UPS (1.5 KVA). Will suffice for the PJ and also lights and fan.

For the amp/AVR etc. just the mains, but do use a good spike/surge protector that will cut off extreme voltage fluctuations.
