farmhouse- need dedicated audio system

Hello,
In my farmhouse, I need to have a good audio system for small events.
It can range from small traditional pooja to nice dance floor party! :yahoo:
So, I was thinking of having a 8 channel mixer connected to a Ahuja AMP.
For the speakers, I am confused ; whether to go for a custom made one or buy from the market?
Can you suggest some good brands within 10k budget.
