Firmware update for Denon X1200W

The firmware are region specific and I do remember downloading these from firmware.denon.eu or some such denon eu website.

If your AVR is not facing any problems, I strongly suggest that you let it run with the current version.

I do not know if these are the latest firmware, but I have two files in my archives. I am not sure if these are working versions as I am not using X1200w anymore. I also do not recollect if I ever used either of these files for an USB update.

Consider using these files if and only if you have no other options. I will share them once you confirm and you can provide me with a way to share these with you. Both files are around 27MB in size.

I have Denon AVR X1200W that is stuck in "Connection fail 036" . It doe not connect thro LAN or wi-fi, So I need firmware update through USB.
I you could share firmware would be great.

Please read some of the other threads in this forum related to denon complaints - knowledgeable people have mentioned that the firmware is encrypted based on the unit serial number. I'm personally aware that the firmware is region specific & what I have is the European version.
Reaching out to Denon support in US would be a safer option, in my opinion.

From what you have mentioned, it looks like your AVR network module is malfunctioning / failed. You can read up the posts in this forum related to how other members have dealt with this issue.

I do not have any problems with sharing the files I have, but please do your due diligence before you try the firmware update with the files I can provide - but high probability that this process is irreversible and you may end up bricking your unit. Once you are sure this will work for you, DM me and we will work it out.

Denon tech support attempted to update the unit and it is now stuck in update loop. I have no other option and Denon refuses to stand behind the product. I'd like to get it up and running again.

I do not have anything for x1300.
Escalate the issue to Denon HQ - Indian service providers rarely help.

Document everything over email and also put a post over Twitter. This helps to make enough of noise and definitely the brand customer service folks will reach out and give some solution or a replacement where possible.
