Got Tatasky Plus HD installed

Hi,

I have placed order at 11am today. Bought it for Rs. 3999. There is no exchange or upgrade facility available for existing customers.

I had a Tatasky Plus connection earlier and got it replaced.

For Tatasky Plus, there were two cables from dish to STB and engineer tried to connect these two to the new STB. But Software did not downloaded even after one hour. Then after calling someone, they were told to use one wire and use a splitter as the new STB needs same signal strength. Software got downloaded and STB was working.

After engineers left, I tried to pause and record, but it did not happen stating some conditional access error. Need to place a complaint now.

Recording issue was solved when I switched off the system and switched on it again.
But, I had written a mail to help desk and no one reverted on that. I just restarted the system on a hunch and it worked else I would have missed recording my fav series.

Congratulation for your New Tatasky+HD connection.
I have just finished formalities on Tatasky IVR for subscription of new connection Tatasky+HD@3999 :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:. They told that installation will be done within 48 hours :clapping:.

I am curious to know that whether they supply cable for connecting LCD TV to STB. Will they provide HDMI cable for HD quality?

Got it installed HD PVR guys !!! It includes HDMI cable too , now its my 2nd HD box . I wonder why there's a front USB port

Hope you are able to cope with the SD channels (bad) quality and TERRIBLE scaling to HD on this box. I have decided to return the box if TS could not resolve these issues.

Obviously.. If they could not resolve the issues, that is the least they could do. We should never let them go with our money unless they fix the issue in a timely manner. Least we could do to teach them a lesson for providing sub par products.

I got my TS+ HD & TS HD installed yesterday. There was a 12 hour delay before the Mega Pack got activated, but I didn't fuss too much, because the 12 hour period was mostly night-hours.

Quality: I have 32' & 26' Sony Bravias and both are only HD Ready, not full HD. That said, I'm thoroughly happy with the quality of both HD & SD content. ESPN HD & Star Sports HD quality is mind-blowing. I also have a PS3, which is connected to the 32' and can almost swear that the PQ of ESPN-HD is at-par with PS3 games in full HD.

TS+: Awesome! The fact that now television is no longer time-bound is exhilarating to say the least.

Price: 9300 for Mega pack + TS+ HD. Reasonable, and appropriate.

Service | Call Center: So far extremely pleasant. The purchase, activation and issue-resolutions have been very very smooth, with accurate information being provided by the call-center.

Overall: Almost feel like having taken a few steps ahead of the Cable+STB quality (InCablenet & Cisco STB) I was used to before.

1. sorry i didnt get u , u mean to say tata hd quality is as good as ps3 hd games

2. which cable stb u were using , i was having digicable stb, and i too feel tata is way better than didgicable stb
