hd 66 or acer 5370bd???

Plz help me dcd which one to pick as there is no demo thing with these pjs i will be shipping it through ishopintl ..my budget is this only.suggestion are invited with similar prices .my requirments are:
90%movie .ambient light will be in the room but not much ..
Room is 10*13*10.
Also suggest the screen size
And feedback on ishopintnl is this site is trustable..

I have bought stuff from ishop but not such delicate items.
I bought HD66 from amazon and got it shipped directly.

Err considering the 5370BD is a true native 3D projector with very good review from projectorcentral & available at a fantastic price of $400 I would say go for it ... The HD66 has been a great performer over the years but I would say its time to move on the the acer now... Hopefully Optoma would soon release followups to the HD66 soon but for now 5370BD is the clear choice... Also u can use cheap DLP 3D glasses with it which is another big plus...

newegg does not ship to india... further more it does not accept any non US credit card... In a scenario such as this ishopinternational seems like the best option to import as they have decent rates & they will buy the product for u so u dont even need a CC...

From what I read on the projectorcentral review it does have the rainbow effect(which low/mid segment projector doesnt?)... But reading a user review on AVS or somewhere, the user compared it to the H5360 I think & he found that the rainbow effects are not that easy to spot & u have to really look for them to find them... He also mentioned the dramatically better black lvl performance(even projector central mentions it) on this projector... I generally dont refer ppl to projectorcentral reviews as they tend to be pretty hard on low end projectors & seem to focus a lot of attention to some small problem the projector might have rather than looking at the overall exp... But in this case,projector central gave it a big thumps up which is a huge boost to the confidence of 1st time buyers in my opinion... I always believe that a 1st time projector buyer will be mostly satisfied with even the most moderately performing projector... So if anyone would like to make this jump I strongly recommend you jump in & start enjoying movies the way they were meant to be enjoyed ....

The best location I can think of is mounted from the ceiling in the center... The fan should not be that much of the prob... All u need to do is reduce the length of the rod of the fan so that it is closer to the ceiling if u feel it comes in the way of the projected image... 1st buy ur projector & play around with it for a few days so u can decide on the placement, size of screen, mount etc... Another alternative if making a shelf on the rear wall & placing the projector upside down on it... I got this idea from Santy who has done something like this ...

PS from a throw distance of 11.5-12ft this projector will be able to do 100-105 inches which for ur viewing distance is actually quite good...

Just read the manual & it says 3D with nvidia 3D vision technology.So cant we use it with ATI card?

Thank you Rajdeep, even I was in this confusion about HD5370, your post cleared a lot of my doubts. I am going to order it from newegg.com. Have a friend in USA who will get it down for me next month.
